What I do
Most projects die in the gaps between specialists. I cover the whole chain so your idea goes from script to final master without losing anything in translation.
Podcasts, interviews, narration, dialogue. Clean, paced, and natural. The kind of edit you only notice if I skip it.
Brand content, social cuts, long-form. Story-first editing with motion and sound design that pull their weight.
Scripts, ad copy, show notes, punch-ups. Words that sound like a person wrote them. Because one did.
Sweepers, promos, station IDs, and DJ drops. Fifteen years of building the sound that makes a station feel like the biggest thing on the dial.
Commercial, corporate, and character reads for brands that need a voice people trust. Warm, versatile, and direction-ready.
Concept to publish. I can ideate it, shoot it, cut it, score it, and write the caption. Then start tomorrow's.
Selected work
A few favourites across audio, video, writing, and music. Everything here shipped to a real client with a real deadline.
90 seconds of edits, motion, and sound design across recent projects.
One project, start to finish. Concept, edit, score, delivery.
Podcast edits, commercial reads, and dialogue cleanup, back to back.
Composed, produced, mixed, and mastered in-house.
Ad scripts, show intros, and punch-ups that earned their laughs.
Raw recording in, finished master out. Hear the difference an engineer makes.
Why people keep hiring me
I don't deliver the obvious version. I'll pitch the idea you asked for, plus the one you didn't know you wanted, and let you pick.
Fifteen years of daily media deadlines taught me speed without sloppiness. Same-day turnarounds aren't a special favour; they're Tuesday.
Corrupted files, noisy recordings, scope changes at 4pm. Bring it. I find the fix, keep the project moving, and keep it fun.
About
I've spent 15 years making media for a living: producing, editing, voicing, writing, and engineering thousands of pieces of content for brands, shows, and clients around the world. These days I run my own studio, Eric Scott Productions, working with clients in Canada, the US, and the UK.
What that experience really gave me is range: I can take a project from blank page to final master, and I can jump into someone else's workflow mid-stream without breaking it. Hosts keep hosting, brands keep publishing, nobody notices the seams.
Outside the studio I'm a husband, a dad, and a Brazilian jiu-jitsu addict. Which means I stay calm under pressure, even when something has me in a headlock. That includes your deadline.
